Martial artists from across the province will be descending upon Airdrie this weekend for the 2024 Taekwon-Do Provincial Championships, which will be held at Genesis Place on Saturday.

While no high school competitors from Airdrie took part in this year’s Provincial Skills Competition, several Post Secondary competitors originated from Airdrie.

Patrols of transmission lines will start May 13 and are expected to be complete by May 17, and include passes over Airdrie, Rocky View and Cochrane areas.
